A lil giddy
Jan 30, 2024Do you ever just feel GIDDY with joy for no particular reason? I think I delight in those moments more than any others.
It’s easy to be joyful when everything is unicorns and rainbows, but on a normal Tuesday when 3 out of 4 kids are off school and you’re still in pajamas and the dogs are being cute? That’s a great time to have joy flowing through you 
Louis slept in my bed last night, and he’s so happy this morning (even though he’s poorly) because he got to sleep with Charlie and that scruffy puppy snuggled up with him. He put his warm little feet on my legs all night (Roddy isn’t allowed to do that, but ya know… kids!)
Amelie has COVID and her platelets are down… again (probably because she’s sick) and she’s been not 100% since Christmas but she just made us all scrambled eggs and we were just laughing and being silly at the table while Eliza bossed us around and ordered me to go and do some laundry…
Now we’ll all lounge on the sofa and watch Harry Potter all day I think. Kids, puppies and me grinning like the village idiot
